Lord Home was appointed Chairman of CBvE in March 2000 and has been Chairman of Coutts & Co in the UK since June 1999. His international financial career began when he joined Morgan Grenfell in 1966, culminating in his being appointed

Chairman of Deutsche Morgan Grenfell Group PLC in 1999. In October 2000 he was appointed Chairman of MAN Limited, and in July 2001 he became President of the British Malaysian Society. He has various governmental, social and environmental board appointments and commitments. Lord Home is an active member of the House of Lords.
