Paul joined the Group in 1976 in NatWest Bank. He undertook a variety of roles in the Consumer Bank, Commercial Banking, NatWest Head Office and internal strategic consultancy. He joined Coutts in the UK in 1990 and moved to Zurich in 1994 where he was Head of International Clients. He was appointed Branch Manager of the Geneva office in 1997 and was responsible for Latin America, Europe and Middle East markets. He moved to Singapore in 2000 as CEO of Coutts Asia and Head of Private Banking for South East Asia and the South Asia (India, NRI segment). He is a member of RBS Coutts International Executive Management Committee. Following the relocation of the International head office in 2007 to Singapore he has been responsible for Strategy and Business Development.
Paul has over 7 years of experience in building the Coutts South Asian business. He is well travelled across India and is now based in Mumbai integrating the ABN Private Client business into RBS Coutts."
