The Singapore branch has been in operation since 1995. Together with the Hong Kong office, the Singapore branch forms part of the RBS Coutts presence in South-East Asia. It offers an extensive range of banking, investment and trust services with specialist staff based in the local office for an international clientele.
In addition, the Singapore office has a strong focus on looking after clients from the South Asian community based in various international markets including the Indian sub-continent, the Middle East and Africa. Our bankers work closely together in country teams to enable our clients to reap the benefits of their in-depth knowledge of local markets, culture and environment in which our clients live and work.
In the Euromoney 2007 Private Banking Poll, the Singapore branch was awarded for being the best in Thailand for ‘Private Banking Services Overall’ and ‘Customer Services Relationship Management’. For its outstanding straight through processing results for SWIFT payments, it also won the JP Morgan Elite Quality Recognition award in 2007. In 2005 the branch was awarded the British Chamber of Commerce British Business Awards in the Financial & Professional Services Category.
